B. “Ugly” refers to things as a whole, not just to their appearance. Just like any other adjective: heavy, wise, fast…

D. The distinction between “ugly outside” and “ugly inside” doesn’t make sense: if something is ugly on the outside it just seems ugly, but it is not. Just like the possible distinction between “wise outside” (looking wise) and “wise inside” (being wise).

G. If someone has an ugly face he is not necessarily ugly: he only has an ugly face.
